Canadian group supporting IS University to dissolve

The Canadian Foundation for the International Space Univ (CFISU) is being dissolved due to budget cuts being faced by many of its corporate, government and agency sponsors. The private, non-profit CFISU was founded in 1987 to support students wishing to study at the International Space Univ in Illkirch-Graffenstaden near Strasbourg, France. Since launching, it has sponsored scholarships for nearly 300 students or about 10 per year. Both the ISI and CFISU share a commitment to the peaceful development of space. The CFISU's sponsors and affiliates included Universities Canada, Canadian Space Agency, Bristol Aerospace, Ontario Centres of Excellence and Department of National Defence....
