Dr Steven Franklin has been appointed president and vice-chancellor of Trent Univ effective July 1/09. Franklin comes to the Peterborough ON-based university from the Univ of Saskatchewan, where he currently serves as VP research. He replaces Dr Bonnie Patterson, who held the position since July 1/98.
