Preeti Malik will join TribalScale Venture Studios as executive-in-residence for its financial services program. She will advise and oversee budding startups and eager entrepreneurs on ideation, strategy, development, and growth in the Venture Studios program. Malik served as the Canada National Practice Lead for Risk and Compliance at Accenture. She also assumed senior management roles at Deloitte, and Ernst and Young. Malik has been recognized for her work on digital and technological innovations, which have contributed to the success and long-term growth of large financial institutions. Her expertise is particularly important for Venture Studios, which sets the standard for innovation labs by connecting entrepreneurs with Fortune 500 companies. TribalScale said this matching process is necessary to create industry-specific startups based on emerging technologies. Before Malik, TribalScale earlier announced Peter Aceto, former president and CEO of Tangerine, as another executive-in-residence and Farid Kassam, principal at Akeelee, as entrepreneur-in-residence. Malik will join the Venture Studios team at TribalScale's TakeOver Innovation Conference on June 11. TribalScale is a global innovation company which also helps startups through its Venture Studios program.
