A delegation of 15 university presidents have wrapped a seven-day trip to India to forge links with that country's academic, government and business communities. The visit has already resulted in four MOUs and $3.5 million worth of scholarships for Indian students already studying in Canada to participate in the MITACS Globalink program. The four MOUs involved Royal Roads Univ, the Univ of British Columbia, the Univ of Ontario Institute of Technology and Indian partner institutions. The delegation was organized by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada and involved Gary Goodyear, minister of state, (science and technology).
