Dr Douglas Stephan has been appointed chairholder of the new NSERC-NOVA Chair in Polymerization Catalysis at the Univ of Windsor. Stephan is a chemistry professor at the university and the chair will develop catalytic chemistry for manufacturing plastics. The chair position was created with a commitment of $973,000 from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, $1.235 million in cash and in-kind from NOVA Chemicals and $1.3 million in salaries and other support from the Univ of Windsor....
