R$’s editorial team is expanding to meet the challenges of Canada’s STI community

I’m excited to announce that starting in September a new Editor will be joining our Research Money editorial team as Mark Henderson, our stalwart Managing Editor for the past 23 years, begins a new phase in his journalistic career. Mark will be staying on as Managing Editor for now, working with the new Editor as they become familiar with R$ and our readers and stakeholders. Debbie Lawes, our Consulting Editor for R$ and Managing Editor for Canadian Innovation News, will also provide support and mentoring during and after the transition period. When the Editor takes the reins as Managing Editor, Mark will continue as Senior Correspondent, contributing articles on a regular basis.

I want to express my deep affection and gratitude to Mark for his dedication and professionalism over the past 23 years. Mark has a passion for the subjects he covers and we’ve all benefited from his profound insight and journalist skill. We’re thrilled that he wants to stay involved as Senior Correspondent, bringing his extensive experience and insight to a sector that is so critical to Canada’s future.
